Canadian criminal pardons

flag_canadaIf you are a citizen of Canada you should know how serious criminal record is. It may cause a lot of problems in your life. That is why y0u should be aware of pardons services in your country.

If you are a citizen of Nanaimo, for instance, and have a criminal record, you should know that your landlord and employer have the right to access the database and check it. It won’t be possible to deceive these people. Very often, when a person signs an application (rental or employment) there is a statement which allows landlords and employers to view his or her record. Very often, employment agreement is signed before a person starts his or her job. A simple question about you criminal record and even granted pardons can be asked there. And when the paper is signed, an employer can easily check whether the information you have entered is true or not.

If you are a citizen of the United States and have a record in Canada, you can enter the US even with a record. But if you are a citizen of Canada and haven’t received special advanced permission or edmonton pardons by Immigration office of the United States you will need US waivers to be able to visit the country.
